For kids or those who can’t seem to figure out what skiing is, head out to the slopes of Val d'Isere. This ski resort town boasts of being family friendly. The slopes here are not dangerous. There are even ski slopes dedicated to kids and for those who are just beginning to be familiar with the sport.
The best seasons in French Alps skiing are during the Months of November to February. Although you can’t stay that long in France, any of these months is great in France. The downside is that there are so many visitors that it’s quite hard to look for a reservation if you are an impulsive traveler. But that’s understandable since if you’re going to France, you better be prepared if you don’t want to be left out, cold and freezing with no room.
But don’t think it’s just all ski in the French Alps, there are hotels that offers spa and there are natural springs that will soothe your tired bodies. Most of the French towns are also deeply religious and you can always experience their tradition of expressing their faith. The Alps is also transformed into a premier summer destination during the “hotter” period in France.
